Inoculations.

Jess and I are now inoculated against Polio (again), Meningitis, Typhoid Fever, Influenza, Hepatitis A & B , Tetanus and we have our Malaria regimen.  I want to personally thank Jessica for commenting on the less than manly manner in which I received my shots.  However, I am not a “little girl”.  I do not know of any little girls that could fend off the entire doctor’s office and 5 volunteer firefighters for 20 minutes before finally capitulating.

My nurse was nice and a little scary.  She warned me about Japanese Encephalitis, petting wild animals, picking fights in bars and diarrhea.  I coolly told her that I’ve had diarrhea before. She laughed at me for 5 full minutes and then pointed me out the door with instructions to go get my Hepatitis A & B shots free at the Baltimore City Health Department, 620 North Caroline St.

With our shots complete Jess and I are certified India invincible, which is good because I do not have room in my luggage for the 10-gallon jug of Purell sanitizer my mom wants me to bring.   With luck, our next post will be from India.
